FACILITATION
is the process by which something is made possible or easier.
Our teaching ethos embraces this notion and we understand it in two ways:
dance is a primal force of human expression bringing ease, joy and quality to our lives
dance should be easily made available to all who love to move
We look to bring dance to diverse contexts and groups of people both as pure movement practice or in dialogue with other arts and sciences through lessons, creative & interdisciplinary workshops.
We work with:
*Ages 65+
*Young people (11-18)
*Vulnerable populations
*Amateur dancers
*Professional dancers
*Non-dancers
*Actors
We facilitate:
* Contemporary dance technique lessons based on release & flying low/passing through techniques.
* Short or long form creative dance workshops that involve technique and a creative/choreographic component. These can be adapted to specific thematic cycles and also tailored to accompany educational curriculum content.
* Interdisciplinary workshops that explore movement in dialogue with other arts & sciences. These can be tailored to a variety of contexts and can be custom made for educational curriculums.
Organizations we have worked with include:
Lycée Franco-Hellénique Eugène Delacroix
